This class will take place from January 18th to February 22nd.
The minimum number of students required per class is three. If only two students enroll, the class will still run but will be shortened to five weeks instead of the usual six.
About the instructor:Janice is a licensed professional teacher with 13 years of experience teaching Tagalog Language and Philippine Literature. She holds a Master of Arts in Panitikang Filipino from Cebu Normal University and is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Filipino Language at the University of Mindanao. With a certificate in Early Childhood Learners from De La Salle University, Janice has also served as a Regional Trainer for the Department of Education and has conducted licensure exam reviews since 2018. An active researcher and presenter, she shared her work at the International Conference on Multidisciplinary Filipino Studies. Currently teaching at Father Saturnino Urios University, Janice specializes in creating engaging lessons, fostering positive learning environments, and tailoring instruction to diverse student needs.
About the class: Complete Tagalog Beginner is an ideal course for those who have never studied Tagalog before or have limited prior knowledge of the language. The class provides a comprehensive introduction to the basics of Tagalog, including its pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure.
