This class will meet in person from August 19th to September 23rd.
The minimum number of students required per class is three. If only two students enroll, the class will still run but will be shortened to five weeks instead of the usual six.
About the instructor: Olga was born and educated in Belarus. She got her Bachelor’s Degree in French and English Languages at the University of Mogilev in Belarus in 2008, Master’s Degree in pedagogical sciences at Minsk Linguistic University in 2009. She holds ABD in Belarusian Language and Literature (Dissertation title: „Actual style traditions of women’s Russian-speaking literature of Belarus (late 20th – early 21st centuries) “). Olga speaks Russian, Belarusian, French, English and she also studied Latin.

This course is designed specifically for middle and high school students who are new to the Russian language. No prior experience is required—just curiosity and a willingness to learn!
Students will build a strong foundation in speaking, listening, reading, and writing through fun, age-appropriate lessons. The course introduces the Cyrillic alphabet, basic vocabulary, everyday expressions, and essential grammar. Cultural topics, games, and interactive activities help bring the language to life and keep students engaged.
By the end of the term, students will be able to greet others, introduce themselves, talk about family and school life, and understand simple conversations—all in Russian.
This class is ideal for students who want to explore a new language and culture in a friendly, supportive environment.
