(On Zoom) Complete Beginner French (Wednesday 6:30pm - 7:30pm PST (January 15th to February 19th) The class size is 3-6 students.
This class will meet in person from January 15th to February 19th.
The minimum number of students required per class is three. If only two students enroll, the class will still run but will be shortened to five weeks instead of the usual six.
About the class: Complete Beginner French is designed for those starting from scratch or with minimal knowledge of French. It provides a solid foundation to begin communicating effectively. You will learn to introduce yourself, talk about your family, hobbies, and interests, and handle simple conversations. The course covers basic grammar, including sentence structure, articles, adjectives, the present tense, and regular verb conjugations, with a focus on essential verbs like être (to be) and avoir (to have). You'll also practice forming negative sentences and using quel as an interrogative adjective. Topics include nationalities, countries, days, months, and numbers from 0 to 100, equipping you with practical skills for everyday communication.
